The sound is clear and ample for our basic home purposes. It's also nice that the system is so compact. A real space-saver. The main thing that's wonderful? Introducing my kids to all the wonderful vinyl records that can't be recreated (or found) on CD. It has been great fun! I'd be happy to add another star if/after this product holds up over time.
