I purchase this for an outdoor birthday party. We placed it on the deck and you could hear the music throughout the entire back yard! It was easy to set up and use! I am happy with this purchase! I highly recommend this speaker system. You will not be disappointed.

I've been in the market for a sound system with an Ipod docking function for quite awhile, but I could not find the perfect combination of features I needed at the right price. Well, the Pyle PHST96IPBK fits the bill 100%. First and foremost - it provides great sound. While the bass will not blow the paint of my walls - I happen to like my walls exactly as they are. It has very solid bass functionality augmenting the higher treble tones. I'm a music conservatory graduate, so sound accuracy is vital. Additionally, I want to be able to control the various sound components individually and this provides for that, as well as the ability to manage the Ipod menus. I also appreciate that the Ipod is continuously recharged. The unit is easy to use right out of the box (just add the stand base), hooks up in minutes and plays beautifully from the first. I did it myself, and I am nooooo technician. The FM radio is an added value that I didn't expect, and the remote allows for easy use. Overall I am absolutely delighted with this product, and find it superior to Bose products of a similar price point.

I have been very impressed with the tower. You get a big sound from a relatively compact unit. It is easy to use and has a sleek look. I use it in my home office which also houses musical instruments and it fits in perfectly. I would recommend the unit to anyone looking for quality audio for you ipod/ipad.
