I bought a new 32" LED TV for my bedroom but the built-in speakers sounded like a cracker box pocket radio, so I bought the PYLE Sound Base to enhance my sound experience. I hooked it up the sound box to the TV with a Toslink digital optical cable. I'm totally overwhelmed with the rich, clear hi tones and deep bass from this sound box! WOW!! I can turn the volume down and still here clear dialog or turn the volume up for distortion-free deep bass that makes action movies sound awesome... and annoy my family in the other room, too lol, I bought the PYLE brand because of their reputation for awesome speaker systems and the price on Amazon.

After checking this product out in Amazon I ordered it last week and installed it last night. Very easy to install using the optical input fed from the TV. Greatly improved the voice and mid range of the TV, Do not have to turn volume up high to hear people talking which we had to with the TV speakers.

Nice to have the treble/bass combination in a single box. I like this format as it blends in with the cabinet and tv setup in our tight space (tv on top of unit) better than a bar and a separate box (bass) on the floor...
- Nice sound projection.
- Works well so far.

I was skeptical of the comment that stated this sound base turns off after 15 minutes of use. I've been running music on it for 30 minutes straight now without touching any buttons and it is working awesome! Great sound out of the front. Good bass coming out as well. I've been looking for a sound bar for some time now, but once I saw the price and the design of this I was sold. Originally planned on putting my 65 inch VIZIO on top of this. I'm confident it would be sturdy enough to hold the weight, but the TV stand is about 2 inches wider than the sound base. Make sure you take measurements of your TV stand. This product is roughly 20.5" long and 11" wide. You could squeeze out 12" wide, but it would be covering the buttons on the top. I highly recommend this product.

I am very happy with this purchase. Easy to setup and operate. Great sound, tremendously better than the sound from the TV speakers. It has 2 equalizer settings, movies and music. I personally feel that the movie setting sounds best for everything. Bluetooth works great. I am using it with a 55" TV with no problems. I don't think you can beat it at this price.
