Review : I got a pair of these through Woot, part of Amazon. At first I was not too impressed with them. The instructions mentioned the importance of fitting them properly, but I was surprised at how important that was. There are two critical things to remember: 1. You need to use the proper sized earbuds. 2. You need to use the headband from your swimming goggles to maintain a bit of pressure to set the buds into your ear canal. Earbud size: The player comes with three different sized earbuds, surprisingly referred to as small, medium and large! I'm not a real big guy, so I first thought that the medium buds would be right. Unfortunately, when I tried the player with those in the pool the sound quality was poor. This was due to the earbud failing to keep water out of the ear canals which results in horrible sound quality. I fiddled with the buds so much that I lost both medium buds in the pool. I fitted them with the large earbuds which fit snugly in my ear canals and tried them again. The results were much better, but not yet perfect. I'd have to adjust the earbuds every couple of lengths in the pool, but the sound quality was pretty good until they came loose. That brings up point number 2. Goggle headband: By placing the goggle headband around the rectangular pieces so that it exerted a modest pressure on the earbuds I was able to get a good, but still comfortable, seal. I can now swim for 30 minutes without having to make any adjustments. There are two cons to the device that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First, it would be nice if there were some loops on the plastic body so that the goggle headband would be held in place. As it is, you place the headband over one side and then the other. I sometimes feel that one side was contacted much higher or lower than the other and it is a bit distracting. The other con, and this may have more to do with me than the device, is that I am unable to control the playback order of the tracks I have loaded. While not too big a deal with music, I typically listen to lecture series with 24 or so separate lectures (much more engrossing than music IMHO), so the playback order is important. While I have renamed the lectures starting with the lecture number (01, 02, 03,...24), I am unable to get them to play in any particular order. I've fiddled with the ID3 tags, but no improvement. So I'm left with stepping through the first few seconds of each lecture until I happen upon the one I'm interested in. That can take several minutes. Overall this is a very good device that provides sufficient distraction to pool lap swimming to make the time go by quickly. They're surprisingly comfortable. They're not made of iron, so I suggest that care be taken in their handling. They're definitely not "throw it in the gym bag" robust, but as they are light, they are unobtrusive when in use.

Review : The pyle neckband waterproof mp3 is the easiest to use of all styles. After charging you drag and drop any mp3 or wma files and in minutes you are ready to go. They are versatile for all activities. they don't have a nagging separate cord you have to keep track of and always breaks or shorts out. The directions are clear. They have tons of room for music and I put study notes on them also. they last for hours. the sound is great. I love the shuffle function

Review : How cool. I just got my new PYLE SPORTS WATERPROOF HEADSET. I'll be swimming in the warm pool with it. I've been going to youtube and downloading free music to put on it. I've also DL guided meditation stuff. Wow These are SO good. Didnt cost that much. Amazon Prime 30 day trial gave me free two day shipping. Very easy to use. Drag n drop window to add any MP3. So far I have Indian flute, Constant sorrow, Justified and humpback songs on it. YEAH PYLE THANKS FOR THE GREAT PRODUCT. I got the pretty blue ones. Better price from Amazon than any other place I've looked. Cant wait to go swimming.

Review : My only complaint is the amount of time it took to download music. On my first attempt, the light just flashed, and the instructions said nothing about what that meant. I needed to do some hunting from other sources to determine that the problem was that I had not converted the music to mp3 format, and then more hunting to figure out how to do that in iTunes. Otherwise, this has been a great buy for my daughter, who wants to practice her synchronized swimming moves to music.

Review : Make sure you read the instructions and use the proper size ear piece for them to work correctly. They hold plenty of music and have plenty of volume! They sound awesome, and they shuffle music and everything a normal MP3 player would do. The only downside to this product is the multi use buttons.. It took me several tries to get the player into shuffle mode.. Player plays WMA and Normal MP3 Player is waterproof! If player stops playing while in water, dry out the ear piece. I found if it has water in it, it will block the sound.. If you use the proper size piece you shouldn't get water into the device.. Holds great battery charge! I will be taking this product with me to the Y everyday!

Review : One key thing I have found that has helped with the water lowering the sound is to put my head strap around the device. Since I've done that I can push off the wall and never get any interference or lag. I typically swim about 30-45 minutes a clip and it has done a fantastic job. Love the sound quality and for the price I don't think you can beat it. Also it's easy to convert music to an MP3 version through iTunes - no real issues with that. I've only had it for about 3 weeks - so I can't speak to longevity, but it's working very well so far.

Review : I bought this for physical therapy in the pool, but haven't used it yet. I've used it for regular exercise on the recumbent bike. Really good sound, really great to have no dangling wires and it's quite comfortable. The sound quality is great. I hope to use it in the water soon and will let you know more then.

Review : It worked fine after 2 hours of trial and error. Deducted 1 Stars for paucity of documentation. Deducted 2 stars for the trial and error in getting it to wor. And it has left a unknown device that my computer. Had to restore my computer to get my wi fi card to work, losing several updates I had recently entered. I could go on. ps I am a graduate engineer with over 30 years managing the design and development of complex computer systems.

Review : Good sound, lack of user interface on the computer though. No option to customize your playback. If there is that option it is not in the manual. Also it is only rated waterproof to 3 feet, makes it kind of useless for guys like me who like to snorkel.
